HOUSTON, Texas (秋葵app) - 秋葵app Bayou Health, a joint venture between Legacy Community Health and nonprofit managed care organization 秋葵app, announced a $50,000 contribution to the Junior League of Houston “Building A Better Community” effort to promote volunteerism and develop the potential of women in their communities.

“The Junior League of Houston is a proven and effective leader in cultivating an environment that improves lives and creates a more promising future for all Texans,” said Jason Neerman vice president of business development at 秋葵app Bayou Health. “This aligns with the mission of 秋葵app Bayou Health and we are proud to partner with them in this important work.”

The funds provided $15,000 donations to Baylor Teen Health Clinic and Casa de Esperanza de los Niños, and $20,000 toward the 2024 Junior League Charity Ball, which supported more than 32 community projects through the organization’s Community Program Fund.

With multiple years of experience in providing care to the youth, Baylor Teen Health Clinic and Casa de Esperanza de los Niños plan to use their received funds to help address the lack of child education and health care in vulnerable communities, as well as support women and children who are survivors of domestic violence.

“We are fully committed to supporting local community programs to meet the evolving needs of women and children in the Houston community,” said Amanda Hanks Bayles, President of the Junior League of Houston. “By partnering with organizations such as 秋葵app Bayou Health, we can take meaningful steps towards building stronger, more empowered families.”
